At the 2025 World Robot Conference (WRC2025), High Torque’s booth featured a mini robot soccer match, designed to demonstrate the robots’ comprehensive capabilities in stability, agility, and human-robot interaction through live competition. The engaging matches drew large crowds of spectators throughout the event.

Standing just 52 cm tall, Mini Pi executed a series of advanced maneuvers on the field — including dribbling past opponents, angled shooting, and autonomous recovery after falls. As the most endearing robot in the match, it drew frequent applause and amazement from the audience.

This demonstration was more than just entertaining interaction — it was a rigorous showcase of precision motion control and stability. Even when knocked down during play, the robot quickly adjusted its balance and stood up autonomously, demonstrating exceptional resilience and recovery capabilities.

Behind Mini Pi’s impressive performance on the soccer field lies years of dedicated investment by High Torque in fundamental humanoid robotics technologies. This commitment ensures that even within a compact design, the robot achieves complex movements and highly responsive performance.

More importantly, Mini Pi is not only a highly interactive robotic product – it is also an open platform for education and development. Supporting secondary development and multi-module integration, it offers an ideal experimental foundation for universities, research institutes, and training centers.

During the interactive robot match session, many children stepped onto the field to experience the joy of “operating a robot for the very first time,” turning this encounter into their starting point of engaging with robotics. This immersive hands-on activity transformed robots into approachable and educational tools, effectively lowering the barrier for young learners to access robotic technology.

The WRC 2025 served not only as a comprehensive showcase of High Torque’s technical capabilities, but also reaffirmed the role of robotic sports as a bridge promoting technological application, educational outreach, and industrial innovation. Moving forward, High Torque will continue to advance along the path of miniaturization, modularization, and intelligence, collaborating with the industry to explore scalable applications across research, education, competitive events, and beyond.
